1. If you haven’t noticed what Reebok is doing this year you’re blind. They are really killing it lately, and their collabs have been crazy. The Reebok Question x Sneakersnstuff “Crocus” , the Reebok Question x Sneakersnstuff “Shoe About Nothing” , and the Reebok Question “Canvas Pack“ are just a few examples, in addition to the regular retro releases of the Kamikaze II, Answer IV, and supposedly upcoming Answer 1. Don’t be afraid to branch out to other brands.

2. Facebook sneaker groups are a waste of time. Aside from the countless useless non-sneaker related posts that will be on your Facebook homepage from being in a FB sneaker group, the kids have no clue what anything is worth, and scammers are everywhere. I had a kid ask me for $350 for Area 72 LeBron 10s; that’s a price we wouldn’t even charge on ShopMidwestSole.com.

3. Why are you buying from people that have had FSRs of Toro (Red Suede) IV’s for months? If you’re buying ANYTHING from someone like that, you own fakes.

4. Just because someone doesn’t like something that you do, that doesn’t make them a “hater”. I hate the word hater. It’s just like hypebeast, people don’t know what it means so they just say it to everyone that doesn’t have the same opinion. I don’t like the Red Yeezy 2s, so I’m a hater? You’re selling for a crazy price and I call you out, so I’m a hater?

5. Quit sitting at your computer whining about missing a release and go to your local stores. Make some connections and make sure they know you by name. If your local shops don’t know you by name, you don’t deserve sneakers.

Nike SB recently gave us a sneak peak of a new colorway for the Koston 2. This edition of the Koston 2 comes with an sport sued Anthracite upper with contrasting white accents, adding a little extra flare to the already stylish shoe. Outfitted with the drop in Lunarlon insole which has helped make the Koston line so successful, the Anthracite edition is perfect for hanging at a party or skating the streets. Available at Nike SB retailers this month, is this edition of the Koston 2 on your cop list?

1. These KD VI “Meteorology” better not be real. This is one of the ugliest sneakers I’ve ever seen. Replacing the Weatherman’s with these? I really hope not. The KD IV “Weatherman” could not have been executed any better, so in my opinion they should have continued using the same imagery on the KD V, KD VI, etc. If Nike would have kept the “Nerf” and “Weatherman” sneakers alive for each of his new sigs, they would all be classics when we look back from the future.

2. The Fire Red 3 is easily one of the best colorways of the model. If quality is comparable to the ’88 3s from this year I will be very happy to drop retail + tax.

3. The supposed LeBron 11 we’ve all been seeing is receiving a lot of positive feedback on sneaker blogs and social media this week. It definitely looks like a quality sneaker from the few pictures we’ve seen, but the looming question is if it is actually the LeBron 11 or a new LeBron Soldier sneaker. It really does look like a new LeBron Soldier, so my question is, if it does end up being a LeBron Soldier, will all the people previously praising it still buy it?

4. This is just stupid. 

5. The “sneaker game” isn’t dead, it’s just running rampant with idiots. Dropping $1k+ on Yeezys when you only have a part-time job may get you e-fame, but it’s not getting you anywhere in life. Learn the value of a dollar when you’re young, and the sneakers will come easily later. Don’t blow all your money on sneakers; but if you really want to, then spend it HERE.
If you really do love sneakers and aren’t just in it because it’s a trend, then you’ll still love them when you’re financially stable enough to buy sneakers and still pay your bills and other obligations. Be patient.

6. Air Force 1s will never die, get mad.

The atmosphere themed shoe comes in a black and pink colorway as it gives off weather pattern designs on the shoe. The colorway resembles heavy levels of precipitation on the radar as well as strong storms.

This weather inspired colorway will be one of the first KD VI’s to drop this year, and is set for an August 3rd release date.

Hitting skate shop shelves this spring is an updated version of the vulcanized edition of Kenny Anderson’s first Converse Pro model. Seeing as Converse is owned by Nike, it was only a matter of time before they began to integrate their popular Lunarlon technology into their Cons skateboarding division. With its one piece construction and classic design, adding Lunarlon just makes this edition of the KA-One that much more of a perfect skate shoe. Earlier today we gave you a look at the sample of the Nike LeBron XI set to drop in October. Now we have the official preview for the newest shoe in the Nike Basketball LeBron James line. This preview gives us a military-esque colorway on the shoes geometric shapes and unique two-part upper.

With the new design comes a 360 Max Zoom unit, Dynamic Flywire, a Lunarlon midsole and the new armorposite. This model of the LeBron XI is like nothing we have seen in the past and could be a sign of what to expect in the future.

Yesterday an image floated around the web on what looked to be the final sample and a preview of the Nike LeBron 11 that is set to release in October. Now we have a new image of the LeBron 11 sample in what could possibly be a “Cannon” colorway.

At first glance the shoe gives off a Zoom Solider type look to it. The shoe comes equipped with a 360 Max Zoom unit, Dynamic Fly wire and a Lunarlon midsole. One of the main things about the shoe is it features the new foamposite rendition entitled “armorposite”. It’s very possible that we could see armorposite used more and more in the LeBron series now.

Update: Kanye has indeed debuted the Nike Air Yeezy II “red” colorway.

Kanye West is set to debut two new songs from his upcoming album “Yeezus” on tonight’s episode of Saturday Night Live.  But that might not be the only thing he’s debuting.

Earlier tonight Kim Kardashian caused quite the stir when she tweeted a picture of the artwork for “Yeezus”. In the image the Nike Air Yeezy II red colorway that has been heavily talked about the past month or so is spotted in the background. It’s been rumored that  Kanye will debut the latest colorway of the Nike Air Yeezy II tonight during his SNL performance.

The Nike Air Yeezy II red colorway would certainly be one of the more hyped sneaker releases ever, and already has people talking about  a potential release soon. If Kanye “debuts” them tonight, does this mean we could be closer to a release of this dope colorway?

To help push the brand, Wayne has enlisted Chicago native and Zoo York pro Chaz Ortiz to represent the brand. While Spectre is a lifestyle brand, the shoes have a skate influence, such as the Griffin. With Chaz floating around for the past few years without a shoe sponsor and has been seen online representing Supra, Spectre seems like a perfect fit.

Spectre footwear is launching with three different models; Chimera, Griffin and Kondor. The Chimera is a high top boot like design which is truly like none other.

The Griffin is a low profile design and is also Ortiz’s favorite model to skate in.

Spectre Footwear will launch on the Supra website on Saturday May 18 along with the whole line. Are a fresh pair of Chimera or Griffin on your radar?
