The color of fire is well known; orange, red, yellow, and white. White is only seen when the fire burns so hot all light available is consumed by the heat, and the fire itself. So when Nike takes white and puts it on one of the most sought-after and well know sneakers, the Nike Foamposite One, one can only imagine this shoe is FIRE! Literally everything on this kick’s upper is white; white laces, tongue, lining, mesh, and foamposite. The only color change occurs on the outsole, the carbon fiber is that black/steel mix everyone knows, and the traction pads are black. Surrounding the traction pad is another foamposite mainstay, the clear accents on the outsole. Basically, Nike is going to cause people to invest in a Segway or some Magic Erasers to rock these. This Foamposite is an instacop in my book, but being a stickler on how clean my kicks are, I am worried when I will or if I will ever feel comfortable enough to rock them . One thing I do know, it will be sunny, because they will turn heads and shine like a flame.
